Making Maths come alive through; stories retelling common social conundrums to enhance social emotional learning. Numeracy concepts are reinforced through hands-on activities, making maths approachable and playful

Weekly sensory activities to promote creative expression, resilience, risk-taking through a myriad of mediums ranging from paint, ice, slime, to , baking soda and vinegar, foam and so much more.

Why we do this? Before children can write, they need hands that have squeezed, poured, and squished. Sensory play builds the motor control and calm focus that classroom learning sits on. The laundry is a small price for big learning ;)

Collaborative inquiry through exposure to real world experiences and learning across the following:

• Current affairs ( 5Ws 1H, how it affects them and their communities, what they can do in response)

• Domestic responsibilities (cooking, cleaning, gardening, food safety)

• Body Safety & Self identity (boundaries, what to do when..., bullying and friendship etc.)

• AI Inquiry (Fact vs Opinion, source bias etc.)

A weekly music and movement program, included in the fees. Rhythm and music appreciation at the junior years, instrument introduction at the upper years.

At the end of every term, the school pivots into a deep dive into a continent/country/city. Where children are invited to learn about other cultures, through history, food, music, stories. Growing our childrens’ sense of wonder beyond the familiar backyard of our country.
